Then at the end of his motocross career, he decided to focus his passion for competition towards triathlons. In 2007 he accomplished his first triathlon at the highly anticipated tri rock in Rockwall, Tx. The fall of 2007 he purchased a Felt S22 tri bike and began training. The beginning of 2008 he joined Tri-Pro Soap and raced his first season of triathlons with the team. Louie started triathlons on a simple dare but now has his sights set on age group nationals for 2010 and one day competing at the elite level.
