I ran track & field in HS and was planning on running in college, but quickly found myself retiring my spikes for a case of beer and a pack of smokes.  After 12 years I decided to get off the couch and start living a healthier lifestyle.  I dropped my Friday night friends and gained several Saturday morning ones.  I completed my 1st tri in April 08 and have not looked back.  My goals for 2009 are to complete a few Olympic distances and most importantly to have fun in the process.
