Download Maps

Mods - or Maps - are the packages the TripleA engine uses to generate a certain game. For simplicity, they are mostly just called "Maps", since that fits well for almost all Mods, except the somewhat less popular Tic-Tac-Toe maybe...

Map-Screenshots are available in the slideshow of the Main-page. They are also provided when using the the "Download Maps" function!

About the Maps Provided Here

A few Maps are included with the TripleA download. A couple of the best and most popular Mods have to be downloaded and installed though.
There are a great lot of Maps around, but only a few are played regularly. Sometimes, less is more. All maps listed at this site here are high quality maps only, chosen for fulfilling the following holy criteria:

good balance
high replay value
pleasant and practical map design
good unit composition
good documentation.

If you made a map that might stand up to the high demands mentioned above, and want it added here, make sure to bundle it as a neat package, ready for installation under TripleA 1.2.x.0, add a screenshot in PNG or JPG Format, and Contact me. There is also a new "Untested Quality Maps" section now, loosening the restrictions a bit.
Also contact me for mistakes in or suggestions about the maps provided here.

The attachment is the file TripleA uses for the automatic Downloads. I provide it here for people interested in making a repository on their own. Contact me to add a new repository to the Links here.
