==> Three Basic Ways to Play a Game Using TripleA

==> Downloading Mods (Maps)

==> Etiquette and Terminology (Glossary)

Couple terms explained there, as well as the TripleA version of the Geneva Conventions. Look here if you do not understand a certain abbreviation.

==> Game Rules and Map/Mod Documentation

==> Learn by watching veterans play

Start TripleA - Click "Find Games On Lobby Server" - Select an active game from the list - Click "Join Game" - say hello and enjoy

Map Maker (program)

==> Having Maps hosted at the Supply Depot

==> Hosting Maps and Mods by yourself

To set up a repository for use with the "Download Maps" function, you have to provide an xml-file like the one hosted here.

==> Upgrading Maps from TripleA 1.0.0.3 to TripleA 1.2.x.0

(please check carefully if the map you want to adapt does not exist already in an adapted version. This prevents multiple versions from being around under the same name)

==> Changing the Color Theme of TripleA 1.2.x.0

Start an actual game, then access "Set Look and Feel..." from the "View" menu. "Default" resembles old TripleA the most, "Raven Graphite Glass" is the new look, "Dust" probably fits Mac fans best and if you feel weird, chose "Challenger deep".

==> Where Are the Maps and Savegames Under TripleA 1.2.x.0?

The maps that come along with TripleA are still in the TripleA "maps" folder. However, due to upcoming write-access restrictions under Windows 7, savegames and downloaded maps will be located in something like "C:\Documents and Settings\ErnieBommel\TripleA". "Documents and Settings" are named differently, depending on your systems l
anguage settings. And of course replace "ErnieBommel" with your own user name.
