Inner Silence‎ > ‎

A alone with The ETERNAL

Let them make a sanctuary that

I

may dwell among them

The sanctuary is not the only place of prayer,

for G-D is

everywhere,

all the time,

and therefore,

as individuals,

we can pray

anywhere

and all the time.

-----------------------------------

-------------------------

It does not say, 'Let them make Me a sanctuary that I may dwel in it,'
but,
'that I may dwell AMONG them,'

Every person must build God's sanctuary

in their own heart;

then

God will dwell among them.

----------------------------------

It is not the splendour or the size of the building

that causes the Divine Presence to dwell along us,
'but the Eternal One takes pleasure

in those who are G-D-fearing',
and in their deeds.

Some may think that it is easy to worship. Religions tend to encourage this impression by
suggesting that worship simply imvolves reciting prayers sanctified by tradition.
But although traditional prayers and ways of praying can serve as a means  of worship -
they do not constitute it.
Worship is a directing of the spirit, one's all, towards G-D,
so that through it
therev comes to the worshipper
a direct, personally experienced awareness of

G-D's PRESENCE
