Local runners Astrid Peacock and Victoria Ralph made up two thirds of Newfoundlands triathlon team for the 2009 Summer games in Summerside PEI. Both girls ran personal bests in the sprint triathlon and were thrilled to represent the province.
Club vice-president Randy Ralph coached the provincial wrestling team which brought home a bronze medal.
