A little about myself and my site: I am currently in my last semester of classes at Stony Brook University as a Secondary English Education Major.  Next semester I will be student teaching at a local school district..an event that I am both excited and nervous to tackle! I currently work 30 hours a week at a local early childhood center.  I love my job and love the children that I interact with on a daily basis, but am looking forward to entering a middle school or high school classroom filled with students who are both potty trained and over three feet tall!  I can honestly say that I am at the happiest point of my life...ending an unbelievable experience at Stony Brook and on the onset of starting a new career as an educator for NY state!

I have just decided to continue my education next fall.  I will be applying to NYU for the TESOL graduate program.  Wish me luck!

This site will show the progress of my Methods 2 class and will be the beginning of my Teacher Portfolio.  This is all very new to me so  I am anxious to see how this ALL turns out in the end...wish me luck!
