TRIAD Orange County could not accomplish everything that we do without the generous and enthusiastic support of Sheriff Mark Amos and the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Mark A. Amos is a native resident of Orange County and graduated from Orange County High School in 1980. He is married to Dana, with whom he has two children, Sydney and Christian.
Sheriff Amos served in the U.S. Air Force in 1982 as a firefighter and joined the Orange County Sheriff's Office in 1987 as a Patrol Deputy. Sheriff Amos worked his way up the ranks to Chief Deputy and, prior to being appointed in August, 2007, he was elected Sheriff in November, 2007.
