May I submit to multiple chapters? Yes, each applicant can submit more than one essay. 4. Should the essays be academic or informal in style? Each submission should be a personal essay, informal in style. 5. Should I use citations? Please include a list of references with each essay. 6. What is tresconsciousness? Tresconsciousness, or triple consciousness, is an expansion of Du Bois' "double consciousness". Triple consciousness explains that African Americans are not only torn because of their race but because of their class as well. 7. Who is editing the anthology? Lhea J. Copeland is the editor of the anthology? 8. Who is publishing the anthology? Informatoin regarding the publishing and rights will be released as soon as possible. 9.
