Thanks for joining us here at the Tree Ring Circus! We are a diverse group of Portlanders with a plethora of interests, and we come together throughout the year to create awesome stuff and partake in shenanigans. We love where we live because of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and our goal is to share some of that with you on the playa. Our location for Burning Man 2010 has now been set at 7:00 and Esplanade! We'll be featuring food give-aways, an eight-sided climbing wall, a 65-foot shade structure, and Cloud 9, our soft and pillowy hookah-dome. This year, we are adding a greater focus on live performances, from DJs to solo performers, as well as late-night dance parties that aim to provide a funk- and rock experience for those who seek shelter from the Trance. During Burning Man 2009 we were easy to spot at Esplanade and 7:30. Visitors were drawn to our climbing wall, lovers rested in our magpie's bower, and children played in our whimsical mushroom house. We fed muggins to over 200 people during our veganly delicious brunch on Tuesday, folks came and went throughout the day to chill under the misters in our tree-ringed tent, and scores of new friends dropped by to dance with us and bask in the glow of our handmade stained glass bar during the nighttime. We were just one of the many experiences people had in 2009 in Black Rock City, Nevada. And the most amazing part about all of this? We're coming back to do it again in 2010! See you there. |
