U13s celebrate after winning the clubs first trophy

Congratulations to the Treaty Gaels U13 Team who won the County C Final 1-1 to 0-0 against Mungret/St Pauls. In a tightly contested match every one of the players were outstanding. A point from Fanie Carmody was all that separated the teams for most of the game until Molly Averell's late goal sealed the win and secured an historic first county trophy for Treaty Gaels.  We are very proud of all the girls who, guided by coaches Paul Danaher, Cora O'Toole and Noel Duggan, have brought this first trophy home to the club.

Victorious U13 team prior to final v Mungret

Treaty Gaels team prior to the game: (back row) Niamh Doyle, Jennifer Holmes, Dervla Clarke, Leeane Hickey, Chloe Duggan (Capt), Anna Prendergast, Mary O'Connor, Fanie Carmody, Eva Bromell, (front row) Hannah Brown, Áine Higgins, Chloe Fitzgerald, Cathy O'Toole, Molly Averell, Dara McEnery, Lauren Danaher.

Earlier in the day our u11 team lost out 2-0 to 1-0 against Crecora in the County B Semi-Final. Again it was a tightly contested contest with the narrowest of margins separating the teams. The girls can be very proud of their performance and of their emphatic win against Na Piarsaigh the previous week which secured their place in the B grade.
