Research Needs Statements

The Hazmat Transportation Committee has developed a number of Research Needs Statements (RNS). Click for a complete list
of those that have been vetted by the committee and added to the TRB RNS Database. These research needs are designed to inform research program planning for a wide variety of audiences, including but not limited to the Hazardous Materials Cooperative Research Program (HMCRP), the National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP), government agencies, academic research programs, and others.

This page is intended to facilitate discussion by the Committee members and friends on proposed additions or changes to the proposed research needs.
