Attached please find the announcement for the TRB Committee AFB20 Summer Meeting entitled " Design, Testing, Installation & Maintenance of Traffic Barriers: How MASH and On-going Research Will Affect You".  The meeting is scheduled for May 31- June 3 at the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio, Texas. We have a very full agenda that includes presentations and discussions primarily focused on traffic barriers and I believe this will be a very exciting and informative meeting.  

This meeting will include, for the first time, a joint session with the AASHTO-AGC-ARTBA Task Force 13. The Task Force 13 meeting that will continue from June 3 to June 5, 2009.  A separate agenda and registration form will be sent out soon and you are encouraged to attend both of these meetings if possible. http://www.aashtotf13.org,

Please use the attached registration form to register for the workshop.  Note that we must receive your registration by May 15, 2009, in order to arrange for the proper number of meals for the conference.  A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel at a very good rate.  Cutoff date to reserve a room and receive the conference rate is May 1, 2009, so make your reservations early.
