Workshop on the Funding Dilemma: How Can We Solve It? 8:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m., Sheraton Seattle

This workshop will examine the ever-present challenges to generating increased funding to meet transportation needs. A number of potential funding solutions that have been proposed by various stakeholders (including a motor fuel tax increase, VMT fees, climate change revenue, etc...) will be discussed and assessed for political viability at both the federal and state levels. Participants will learn about how state and local governments are coping to sustain their programs during this impasse.
