Reading Notes Portfolio: Due December 10. 2008
Print out all of your reading notes for Chapters 1-8 from the Prentice Hall Textbook. Write a three to five paragraph summary of your notes. Your summary should include all six themes that you are required to write about in your notes. You will be graded on both your notes and your summary, so this is a good opportunity to rewrite notes that are not acceptable or that you wish you had earned more points on. This project will not have the following: a folder, a cover sheet, or anything unnecessary attached to it. Simply put your name, date, and period at the top right hand of your summary. Title it “Reading Notes Portfolio: Chapters One through Eight.” Do not add anything else to your portfolio.
Due December 10th.
An “A” project will have eight chapters of notes, which are at an “A” quality, according to the rubric. It will also have a summary of the notes that is cohesive (the paragraphs are connected with transitions and the sentences within the paragraph related to one another, they are not simply disconnected random bits of information. The summary will be in 12 point font, double spaced, and in Arial or Times New Roman only.
