Coeur D'Alene, ID is a college town and a resort town. Its full of all your typical outdoor activites. Downtown also has tons of cool shops, restaurants and clubs. A local resort has what is called the longest floating boardwalk in the world.

Trolley Stop --off Warm Springs Road - great breakfast with a pile of potatoes as large as your head.
Roques -- State Street -- the best tacos. The taco lunch plate comes with 3 small tacos, rice and beans. The pork is the best, served with a delicious verde sauce. Roques wins hands down for Mexican in Boise.
the Boise market has a very nice meat counter and fresh fish. Stay away from the fish at the Co-op.
