Tranmere Parish Pastoral Council

October Meeting, 2011

The Parish Pastoral Council October meeting was held last Wednesday in the Parish School.

·         Fr. Peter will be guest speaker at the Knights of the Southern Cross meeting immediately after 7.30pm Mass next Wednesday, All Souls day, all parishioners are invited.

·         The Neighbourhood Contacts programme will be “re-launched” at Mass on the 13th. November. Morning tea that day will celebrate this outreach.

·         On Sunday the 20th. Of November, the feast of Christ the King, we will celebrate Mass with our Parish school community. There will be a morning tea on this occasion also.

·         85 people attended the Parish progressive brunch, and approx. $1400 was raised to fund a generator for one of Fr. Antoni’s schools in India. This was a wonderful community day.

I do hope as many Parishioners as possible will attend the morning teas.

It’s a great way to meet others, celebrate our Parish, and to enjoy the Social Committee’s hospitality, and it’s all for FREE!

Paul Halliwell,

Chairman Parish Pastoral Council.
