Hey.....feel free to make any comments you wish.....we will also keep you updated with the latest on the band :-)

I'm off to see Fran at the weekend, and have been trying new ideas for the new album that we will start working on later this year. Started making my own samples and trying some new vst looking for some good sounds. Paul (20/5)
Good grief....there really is some crap out there (re:vst) Does no one have good graphic ideas? They look like kids drawings and sound like kids toys.... (30/5)

Loss of a good friend , Big Al

We are greatly saddened at the loss this week of a good friend. Alan Hill (Big Al to us all) Al was a producer, musician aka Mind Over Rhythm. He worked with many established artists across many genres of music, but always bringing his unique knowledge and unbounded enthusiasm to everything he engaged in.

He was a great supporter of Tracing Arcs, and his encouragement, generosity, enthusiasm, and advice was very important in our early days, and throughout all our efforts to define what we were, and trying to say.

He worked with such artists as Jack de Johnette, Plaid, Bjork, amongst many, and was second to none in understanding the recording process. His studio (The Sonic Kitchen) was a hotbed of ideas, and dodgy jokes.

He will be greatly missed, and our sympathies go out to Jaz, Zoot, Tina, brother Bill, and all those who were lucky enough to be touched by his gift and humour.

With luck he is showing someone somewhere how to set up a eq curve on some celestial desk, and honing some beats with just that right amount of crunch, whilst recounting some iffy experience that would have you wet yourself with laughter.

"Alright mate?!"
