News and Announcements

    January 13, 2010 - Dr. Sienna Clayton, head of the Clayton National Clinic of Aesthetic Medicine, has been awarded the "Humanitarian of the Year" award by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent for her work in bringing reconstructive plastic surgery to developing countries.

November 15, 2009 - Relations chair  Rev. Nkosi Ramaphosi has been named the Planned Parenthood's "Man of the Year".  The award recognized Rev. Ramaphosi and TFCD's pioneering work in the advancement of sexual and reproductive rights in Sub-Saharan Africa.

    February 22, 2009 - "Adventure,"  the TCFD funded Wizard of Oz remake swept the Academy Awards, winning 12 Academy Awards, the most of any film.  Awards included Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Writing.

    January 2, 2009 - Expedited Dispatch for Global Emergencies (EDGE) launched.  EDGE is a top-notch emergency medical service with teams prepared for deployment around the globe at a moments notice.  Their services are free, and can be requested by any party.  EDGE is a peaceful mission only, and does not deploy with any additional security detail to help increase acceptance by local communities.
