WaveRunners Information

  • Maria Parfitt will be holding a free stroke clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm at the Calcutta YMCA. It begins August 11 and will run though September 10. Participants must have a YMCA membership and have passed the Minnow level of lessons at the YMCA, be a past member of the WaveRunners, or be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. This is a good opportunity for swimmers who are considering joining the WaveRunners but aren't sure if they would like competitive swimming. Please pass this along to anyone you think may be interested.
  • Registration for the WaveRunners will be Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 - 2:00 at the Calcutta YMCA.
  • The WaveRunners Hot Dog Sale will be Sunday, August 23 from 10:00 - 6:00 at the Calcutta Giant Eagle. Please contact Jan Todd (4jtodds@comcast.net, cell: 330-853-4372) if you can help.

Marshall County has asked that each team provide 2 timers for the AM and PM sessions. If we can get 4 volunteers (or more) for both sessions, we can trade off so nobody has to work the entire session.

Please email the team if you can time--please note if it is the AM or PM session (or both).
