·         July 30, 2008 – Housing Element focus group

o   Open to public

o   Similar to focus groups held in ‘04/’05

o   Intended to lead towards goals, objectives, policies for housing element

·         August 13, 2008 – Parks Element focus group with Park Board/Plan Commission

o   Open to public

o   Establish vision and goals for Park and Open Space Element

o   Evaluate service provided in the town vs. WPRA/NRPA Standards

·         July – September 2008

o   In-house development of goals & objectives

o   In-house research, analysis, and integration of relevant data into Plan Elements (maps, charts, graphs, etc.)

o   In-house development of plan element content/text

·         September 10, 2008– Steering Committee Meeting #2

o   Present draft goals & objectives for each element (incl. Park & Open Space)

o   Present preliminary data per plan element in context of goals and objectives

o   Following this meeting – finalize goals & objectives and submit memorandum

·         September 2008 – January 2009

o   In-house analysis of data, public input

o   In-house development of recommendations (policies and programs)

o   Submittal of draft Plan by April 30 ’09 for posting/sharing

·         May 20 ’09 – Steering Committee Meeting # 4

o   Workshop/Public Hearing on Draft Plan

o   If changes are recommended, will complete final draft of Plan by end of May

o   Adoption in late-May/early-June
