In 2009 I was recovering from knee surgery, and had gone most of the year unable to race my bike.  This was a huge blow for me, because I love racing bikes.  In July I was back on the bike and trying to get some strength back when I heard about the Tour de Timor.  It sounded awesome.  I couldn't resist.  I realised that I had to go and race it, so I did.  It was the first race I had done for over a year, and it was more fun than I can put into words.  That didn't stop me trying though, so you can find those words by following these links!
