CAG TOURISM AND RECREATION STUDY GROUP STUDENT AWARDThe CAG Tourism and Recreation Study Group annually presents student awards for oral presentations at Study Group sponsored sessions at the Annual Conference of the Canadian Association of Geographers. All students registered at Canadian Universities who are current CAG members at the time of the annual conference are eligible. In order to be considered for an award, students must submit a copy of their abstract to the Study Group Chair prior to the conference. Award recipients will receive a one year membership to the CAG and a one year membership to the Tourism and Recreation Study Group.
STUDENT TRAVEL GRANT TO ATTEND CAG MEETINGSEach year the CAG provides student members who are Canadian citizens living in Canada or in other countries and non-Canadian CAG student members who are residing in Canada who are presenting papers/posters, a travel grant to attend the CAG Annual Meetings. To be eligible, students must have held CAG student membership in the year prior to the meeting as well as the year in which the meeting takes place and their paper/poster must have been accepted.
