REGISTRATION To participate in the conference (whether as a speaker, member of the audience, or organiser), please register by using the link to the registration form. Please chose the appropriate registration fee. Where delegates chose the student rate, a valid student card shall be presented at the time of the conference in September. The registration fees (covering all coffee/tea breaks, two lunch breaks and two dinners) have been fixed as follows:
Once you have registered at the link above, we will send you a PayPal payment request via e-mail. You can use this to pay by Credit Card, bank transfer or PayPal. Please be patient if this takes a couple of days as we have to generate these payment requests manually. We had some temporary issues with our PayPal account (not of a security matter) which is now solved. We apologize if this has created delays in the creation of invoices. SPONSORSHIP We had personal discussions with various potential sponsors here in Portugal, both institutional and private, but did finally not succeed to secure any additional funding to support delegates in difficult financial situations. To help us reduce time allocated to email correspondence, please refrain to inquire about personal sponsorship opportunities. We currently still have a FCT (Portuguese National Research Foundation) pending. If successful, this can, however, only be used to support a number of identified international delegates who have taken on a leading part in the event organisation. We are sorry not to be able to sponsor more people. On the other hand, the philosophy of this event has always been and remains to be as accessible as possible. For this reason, the registration fees were fixed at a very low level, if compared to similar international conferences. Return to conference main page |
