TouchNature Essential oils are extracted from different parts of plants through steam distillation.  They are concentrates that need to be mixed with carrier oil or base. Some of our essential are produced by our sister company Green Leaf, another fair-trade organic herbal company that has the same vision and passion.  The prices of essential oil varies according to the difficulty of extracting the oils and the different parts of plants that they are extracted from.

TouchNature uses aromatherapy-grade essential oils in our soaps instead of synthetic perfumes. These oils release a gentler and more natural scent. Since essential oils are extracts from the fruits, flowers, and leaves of plants, various healing and therapeutic properties have also been attributed to them.
