A Singaporean social entrepreneur. She has lived in Nepal since 1996. When she was there, she was overwhelmed by the poverty in the country. TouchNature was set up in year April 2001, in the flat of Josephine Tan,The picture on the left bottom was taken in the first “factory” in year 2001. It has been a long and difficult journey trying to establish a factory in Nepal. However, though the rewards that come with the labour has been great. It is very satisfying to see the living standards of the workers being improved, to see them and their children enjoying better health. Lives have been changed and transformed. Many lives have been touched.
