1 p.m. - 5 p.m

Fort Pierce City Hall Parking Garage

Check back soon as we are are launching a new site with more information on this year's festival.  We have big plans and a big announcement coming soon!

In 2008, six individuals organized the First Annual Treasure Coast Beer Fest in downtown Fort Pierce, Florida. Because of the success of that festival, BeerWorks Charitable Foundation Inc. was established. Our mission is to educate people about the many styles of beer the world has to offer, and at the same time raise money for local charities.

BeerWorks Charitable Foundation, Inc  has donated over $25,000 to the following local charities from the proceeds of the first three beer fest events:

Learn To Read of St. Lucie County
Learn to Read of St. Lucie County is a non-profit corporation established in 1981 when our founder, Dorothy Brennan, read in the newspaper that a woman had given an overdose of medication to her child because she could not read the perscription bottle instructions. Her goal was to improve literacy skills of the residents of our community and that is our goal today.

Kate's Hope FoundationHelping Other People in Emergencies
Kate's HOPE was founded in 2008 to help people facing life threatening illnesses get the financial help they need to continue treatment. The organization was named for and founded to help Kate O'Connor, a 37-year old single mom that was battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.  Today, Kate is cancer free, and her organization now is set up to help others in similar circumstances. In fact, HOPE stands for Helping Other People in Emergencies.

BeerWorks Charitable Foundation, Inc  will be donating to the following charities from the 3rd annual,  2010 event

Harvest Food & Outreach Center Providing Food & Hope on the Treasure Coast
Harvest Food & Outreach Center was founded in 2003 by Austin and Ginny Hunt. Ginny and Austin grew up on the Treasure Coast and both experienced the realities of growing up in homes that struggled financially. It was this journey of faith through life's challenges that gave them the passion to help those in need with basic necessities by lending an outstretched hand during times of crisis, as well as compassionate navigation towards a bright future of hope and stability. Austin, Ginny and the Harvest Food & Outreach team implemented an innovative food assistance program to financially assist the working poor on the Treasure Coast.

Memory Walk 2010
Memory Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research — and it calls on people of all ages to take action in the fight. Year-round, our participants are leaders in the effort to defeat this devastating disease.

Dogs & Cats Forever Inc.
Organized in 1988 for the purpose of building and mantaining a shelter for homeless dogs and cats on the Treasure Coast. It is built on 10 acres of land at 9550 Carlton Road Saint Lucie County, a couple of mile from Martin County. Carlton Road runs between Okeechobee Road and teh south end of the Glades Cutoff.
The shelter is founded on the principle of tryin to find good, adoptable and loving home for the animals.
Any healthy pet not adopted will have a safe and premanet home at our facility for the duration of it's natural life. We strive to end animal abuse and neglect.
This charity is not connected with any other Animal Society. It is a not-for-profit, tax exempt project, totally dependant on donations and endowments.

Michael's Message, Inc.,
Our Mission: A 501 (c)3 non-profit organization was founded with the intent to educate the public and our youth about the dangers of the illicit Schedule 1 drug GHB (Gamma Hydroxy Butyrate) and other Designer/Club drugs as well as Prescription and other illicit drugs. Its founding was inspired by the swift, tragic and uncharacteristic death of our son Michael.  Education is the key to prevention.
Our Goal: To present this Drug Awareness Program to as many of our youth as possible. Our youth must be made aware of the harmful effects and consequences associated with the choices they make. Drugs touch most of our lives in one way or another.
