Chad Toporski graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.S. in Music Education. Prior to attending college, Mr. Toporski served as a French horn player in the U.S. Army for four years. He was stationed in Ft. Lee, VA, where he played with the 392nd Army Band, and Ft. Bliss, TX, as a member of the 62nd Army Band. In high school, Chad also played regularly with the Ringgold Band of Reading, PA.
 
An avid music arranger, Mr. Toporski has had many of his works performed publicly. These include arrangements for marching band, horn ensemble, brass quintet, woodwind quartet, handbells, and chamber winds. He continues to write for various ensembles both professionally and for personal interest.
 
Mr. Toporski currently serves as a long-term substitute teacher (General Music, K-2) for the Blackhawk School District. He continues to perform as a French horn player with the North Suburban Symphonic Band, West Hills Symphonic Band, Pittsburgh Horn Club, and for pit orchestras in local school districts. In addition to this, Mr. Toporski has also been commissioned to arrange music for a number of high school marching bands. His current goals include becoming a full-time music teacher.
