Dear Friends,  Welcome to our church -
2 Timothy 3:16 (Amplified Bible)
Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action),
All scripture is God inspired.  The bible teaches us that God's word is inspirational.  God makes it a point to inspire us through the scripture.  This is why it is so important to read the bible.  Many people believe Good is boring, strict, and a kill joy in the sky.  In reality, God is fun, exciting, and full of inspiration.
Over the years, I have heard people mention that there is nothing inspiring about God's word because they dwell upons such statements in the bible such as, "THOU SHALL NOT, THOU SHALL NOT, THOU SHALL NOT" (in regards to teh Ten Commandments).  When God says, "Thou shall not", he is expressing his love and protection for us.  "Thou shall not" simply meands that if we do certain things in disobedience to God's word, we will suffer painful consequences.  Take for example of when a parent reprimands a child not to touch a hot stove.  The parent is saying, "do not touch" for the safety of the child because the outcome will be painful.  The parent is expressing their love for the child by disciplining the child when he reaches for the stove.
So we learn that God's word is truly inspiring and full of profitable instruction for each and every one of us.
Take time today to read God's word and be inspired!

Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our weekly services. And of course, feel free to reach out and call one of our Pastors or Ministry Leaders.

We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.

We'd also like to invite you to make an online prayer request. You're prayer request opens the door, and God is waiting patiently on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you.

Many blessings to you,

Pastor Gilbert Montelongo
