    TonyatMATC Network

Becoming part of the TonyatMATC Network!

This page introduces you to the tools that I will be using with all my students.  These tools are intended to create a network of IT students within MATC. I use these tools to diseminate class, job and technology information. They are essential tools that should make your academic and professional life easier at MATC. The goals of these tools are:

    • To build a community of IT students, graduates, and professionals.
    • To allow instructors and students to easily interact with each other.
    • To allow students, instructors, and professionals to share and disseminate information that is relevant to a career in IT.
    •  Learn to use the tools that will be essential to a career in IT.
    • To have fun, learn, and be more efficient and productive in your life.

These are the tools and services that I will be using. I have a page dedicated to each one of the tools and services that my network is built around.  Some include screencasts and tutorials on how to get started with each one.  Use of these are required in all of my classes. Any IT student is welcome to join my network!

    Talkshoe Broadcasts

You should go here and signup for Talkshoe. You can download the client or you can use the web interface that is in Beta. I have tried both and they work very well. I will be posting more information about shows here a couple of weeks into the semester.

I hope this tool will be utilized by all my students and add some extra content that will be valuable to your studies in IT.

Great website I found explaining the various ways to connect to a Talkshoe broadcast - Please Read!

You can connect to the broadcast using the widget below.

Or go here for my Talkshoe broadcast page.
