In 2008 Tom moved his focus to Stand-Up Comedy. This is a natural progression since he has been doing comedy theatre for over 45 years. Tom is writing, directing and starring in the movie documentary "Stand-Up and LAUGH?". The film will follows his pursuit of Stand-Up Comedy. Stay tuned for time and dates Tom will be standing up. In 1992, Tom started his own production firm, Erb Productions (Currently known as STAGERight), to help arts organizations as well as mainstream corporations establish a structure of leadership and develop business strategies that apply to their organizations. As STAGERight, his work includes executive coaching and development, organizational and team design, strategic planning, budget management and communication.His clients have included Park Road Playhouse, Sarah Parker Talent Management, Palm Beach Opera, Seattle Opera, Fitness Attitude Training, Warner Brothers, Pioneer Motion Pictures, Polka Dot Playhouse, Rolling Stones Concert, the 1995 Super Bowl Halftime Show, South Carolina Forestry Commission, American Heart Association, and American Chiropractic Association. In 1999 Tom founded the New England Theatre Training Institute in East Hampton, CT and later in 2004 in Newport Rhode Island. NETTI served as a training ground for all who were interested in theatre regardless of age or experience. Tom currently resides in Newport, Rhode Island where he is serving as the Director of STAGERight and Newport Arts Scene. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Tom has enjoyed a variety of successes and triumphs over the years. These have included being a published writer in national and local publications, composing and producing a syndicated television series entitled Fitness Attitude Training, working with many Hollywood actors and directors who include Stephen Spielberg, Joel Schumacher, Sylvester Stallone, Jim Carey, Burt Reynolds and Cliff Robertson, CO-Founder of the Park Road Playhouse in West Hartford, Connecticut, Acting Teacher and Coach for many talent agencies, theatres and playhouses in Florida, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Tom majored in theatre arts at Roger Williams University and Florida Atlantic University.
