WINTERGUARD AUDITIONS!
Join during winterguard to learn...
Stay in the guard for fall and be apart of the
Tomball Cougar Pride Marching Band!
If you would like to be a member of the color guard,
please contact the director and let us know you
will be there. After that, all you need to do is show up. Tryouts are not hard at all.
There are many things we will teach you
in the three days you will be with us.
Winterguard Audition

3:30-6pm
At the Tomball HS Band Hall
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic students to be a part of our organization. The color guard is growing very fast and we are looking to increase our numbers.
We have plenty of open slots for next year.
What to Wear:
Comfortable dark dance attire. Most members wear black yoga pants and sleeveless top.
What to Bring:
Usually members just bring a snack and water. We will provide practice flags.
What will I learn:
We will teach you our stretch routine, some traveling movement or "across the floors", equipment technique and a short audition routine.Tryouts are very easy and we do not expect you to master all the skills we teach you. We are looking for your ability to master these skills in time. If you have a great positive attitude, willingness to succeed, and work very hard, you will have a great shot at being accepted into the color guard. Don't be scared and bring a friend! Come and see what we are all about.
You will have more fun than you can possibly imagine!
