Competition Economic (DICE) of the Heinrich-Heine
University. I have been a lecturer at the Humboldt University Berlin and the University of Vienna, and a research fellow at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin (WZB). I earned a laurea in economics from the Ca’ Foscari University, Venice and a PhD in economics from the Humboldt University Berlin. My research interests are in applied econometrics in the fields of industrial organization and law and economics. Some specific topics are competition policy, regulation, merger control, mergers, research joint ventures, lobbying, and institutions. My papers have been published in The Journal of Law and Economics, European Economic Review, Public Choice, Journal of Management Studies, and Reaserch Policy among other academic journals. I have advised several public bodies, such as the European Commission and the UK
