Closure of non-funded week

Early Education Funding is not available for the week commencing 22 October 2012 and the nursery will be closed. Kidz Club may be closed that week.  Posted 10 May 2012

 
Todwick School Inset Days
Todwick School are to have an inset day on Friday 22 Jun.  Nursery will open as usual on these dates but Kidz Club will be closed.  Todwick School have changed inset days in the past so please check newsletters, posters, web sites etc. Posted 9 Feb 2012
 
 
 
 

Kidz Club provides both before and after school/nursery care in two sessions:-

 

BREAKFAST CLUB

 

7.45am - 8.45am 3-11 years £3.75 per day (includes breakfast)

Safe, secure environment under constant supervision

Stimulating activities

Opportunity to do homework

Internet access

 

At 8.45am your child will be escorted from Todwick Early Years to Todwick J & I School and handed over to school staff.

The club operates Monday to Friday during normal school term times.

AFTERSCHOOL CLUB

 

Your child will be collected from Todwick J & I School and escorted to Todwick Early Years.

 

3.15 - 5.45pm 3-11 years £8.50 per day (includes a snack)

 

Choice of activities available for free every day:-

Computer with Internet access and a variety of games

Choice of suitable DVD’s/television which promotes creativity and imagination

Board games, playing cards and dominoes

Construction activities and jigsaws

Drawing/collage

Outdoor play (weather dependent)

A special themed activity involving creative craft work

Children will be actively encouraged to express their creativity and independence in activities they choose and where possible they will be involved in the planning and choice of activities they participate in.

We will be celebrating a range of culturally diverse events and festivals including :- Halloween, Diwali, Eid ul-fitr, saints days, Hanukkah, Christmas, Chinese new year, Easter, mothers/fathers day.

Children will always have free access to books and a quiet area in which to read or just relax. If children wish to complete homework during these sessions then a quiet space will be made available and help and guidance given if required.

The club operates Monday to Friday during normal school term times.
