Welcome to my website! My objective: to be the best I can be at Ironman. This is a log of my progress. I am starting to race as a professional triathlete for the 2008 season - the next few years are going to be a lot of hard work and fun! Here's to the long-game as I work my way up the professional ranks! 2005 marked my first Ironman race and I finished in a time of 9:42. IN 2006 I completed Ironman Germany in a time of 9:32 and won my age group at Weymouth Middle Distance. IN 2007 I posted a 9:16 at Ironman Austria (1st British athlete) and a 9:15 at Ironman UK. Since 2005 I have been getting fitter and faster and that journey continues as I start pursuing triathlon as a professional athlete. In 2008, I placed 6th overall at IMUK and qualified as a pro for the Ironman World Champs in Hawaii! My goals for the year, with the support of my awesome sponsors at Team Timex, is to improve my overall ranking in Ironman and achieve a sub nine hour Ironman time. Age: 30 Lives: Carshalton, Surrey, UK Running and Tri Club: Serpentine Coach: Steve Trew Highlights of the year so far include warm-weather training in the Geelong, Australia, concentrating on some solid base training. I have just finished Epic Camp (NZ) for the second time - logging 60 hours training in eight days! Check out the blogs from Epic NZ 07 and 08 at the Epic Camp website.
