Beef Show
Date: Monday, August 2rd Chairman: Robert Stinson Breed classes will be provided for any breed with 8 or more head checked in. They must be owned by at least 3 different exhibitors. Those breeds with less than 8 head will be shown in the “other breeds-registered” class.
Premiums: 1st place $20, 2nd place $12, 3rd place $8, 4th place $5, 5th thru 10th place $4.
Mandatory pre-registration deadline is July 19. Rules: No bulls. All animals must be on the fairgrounds and entered by 5pm, and start promptly at 6pm. All exhibitors must pay $4.00 admission to the fairgrounds. No exhibitor will be allowed to place more than two entries in any class. Space and facilities will not be available to house animals until the day of the show. All animals may leave the fairgrounds immediately after their respective shows. All animals must meet State of Tennessee rules and regulations for livestock entered in fairs and exhibitions. Health papers are required! Bedding is provided. No outside bedding will be allowed!
Class A: Angus Class B: Hereford/Polled Hereford Class C: Other Breeds (Registered) Class D: Showmanship Lots: 1. Showmanship - Grades 4, 5 & 6 (school grade you were in as of January 1 of current year ) 2. Showmanship - Grades 7 & 8 (school grade you were in as of January 1 of current year ) 3. Showmanship - Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12 (school grade you were in as of January 1 of current year ) |
