The innocence of life

is merely a whimsical ignorance.

Without that knowledge

we cannot see.

The world around us

is not so simple.

Innocence is naivete.

The ability of knowing

the torch, or the bonfire

that lights up the surrounding

plane, the world of perception.

Naivete is a blindness

the ignorance of the

surrounding world.

The dark, scary reality

is unknown.

So the mind creates a

vista of its own designs.

An illusion of a world that

does not really exist.
