The very first change was the new door knobs on the "old" front and back door! now I'm the only one with a key... haha!
As you can see the match wasn't perfect, but it was a good start...
The tour will begin at the front door in the living room and go through the house... I'll describe the pictures when they get tougher to tell what they're of...
This is looking through the back door into the laundry/utility room.
Looking at the hall way here, the first door on the right will be where the next pictures go. It's the 3rd bed room and will be the office. the next door on the right is a small storage closet/coat closet, and then all the way down on the right is the master bedroom with a half bath.
The first door on the left is the bathroom and all the way down on the left is the 2nd bedroom which will be the guest bedroom.
Notice the flooring (actually 3-layers of old flooring!)

The next couple are of the master bedroom.
This is across the hall from the master bedroom of the 2nd bedroom.
And back down the hall towards the living room... (Again all the flooring needed to be ripped out)
My first problem... had a pipe freeze and burst in the attic! got the office and master beedroom floors wet... good thing i didn't rush to get the old flooring out and the new flooring in.
When i went into the attic to look Chance didn't want to be left behind so he climbed up the ladder to take a look too!

My second problem... I locked my-self out and had to break in... good thing i planned to replace the doors right away!
All the old stuff that I ripped out is piling up quick! I really need to get a garbage pick up soon.
Now's where the progress starts... see i told you i was planning on replacing the doors right away...
The new door has blinds built into the glass... I think that's the coolest thing! and it has a smooth lower half for the doggie door that's on order.
My new appliances are installed and now I'm ready to move in! ...Kinda
Ready or not, I'm now moved in and have only the basics out while i complete the to-do list... the rest is stored in the office (shown in the next picture)
The bathroom turned out good... i had to replace the tub fausets cause they were leaking and then i changed the toilet float and toilet seats, tightened the sink water line and replaced the shower head... good as new!
My bed fit so i'm happy and will be working in here as well so i'm not getting to settled in. I also had to put the blanket on the bed since Chance thinks it's his bed when i'm gone and i took the doors out so i can't do a thing about it!
This concludes the first part of the tour... I'm glad you got to see what's been keeping me busy outside of work. I'll keep it updated and should have made some progress even as this is being put up...
