My wife and I are moving to Sacramento, Ca. in September to a 55+ community due to our ages, I am 74 and my wife is 69. We have lived in Helena for more than 30 years and in this house since it was built in 1980. We hate to sell it, but have to because all our kids and grand kid do not want to moved to Montana, so we decided to move there instead.
We are downsizing from a 4bedroom house, 4685 SQFT to a 2bedroom house, 1450 SQFT. What this mean is that ton of furnishing and personal things have to be discarded, to be given away and to be moved. To help for a quick sale, I will reduce $30,000 to the selling price to $298,000 for any offer by September 30, 2008. If the house is not sold by then, it will be listed with realtor at the original price. Also, I will leave to the new owner the pool table.
