I have been painting for most of my life but apart from  ‘O’  level Art and a few courses I am self- taught. I began to paint seriously after taking early retirement from a nursing   career using mainly watercolour and oils. I also enjoy pastels and pen and wash.   Whilst most of  my  work is  landscape I have done some still  life and animals.        My  work  has been exhibited in Bath and Wells, both as part of a group and solo , and pictures have gone as far as Australia and America and I regularly get asked to do commissions. Besides the Timsbury  Art  Group  I also  belong  to The Avon Valley Art Society and The Old Bakery Artists.
