I have always been an artist. From earliest childhood I have always enjoyed drawing anything....and have always been inspired by the natural world and patterns, a unique style emerging.... I now use mainly acrylic chroma colour and sometimes mixed media upon a variety of surfaces. In academic terms my portfolio of work was accepted as entry onto a university art degree course but ill health prevented me from taking up this opportunity, however I was fortunate to receive one-to-one tuition from a local artist(Ken Tadd). I Joined Timsbury Art Group in 2006 after moving to the village in 2004 and enjoy the companionship and encouragement of fellow artists, as well as the opportunity to exhibit my work in such wonderful locations as Wells Cathedral........... |
