Tim graduated from Exeter University with a commendation in BA Drama and MFA Staging Shakespeare. He has written and performed comedy on a regular basis since 2001, with groups Meeting About Laughter, Paper Monkeys and The Nightmare Factory. He co-founded theatre company Playfellows and worked with them as an actor, writer and director in shows such as the premiere adaptation of Louise Welsh’s ‘Tamburlaine Must Die’ and the controversial Edinburgh Fringe hit ‘Cabaret Auschwitz’.
Tim toured with ‘Club Class’ by Harry Denford for over a year, and performed two acclaimed solo shows in 2008.
Tim presents live music and chat shows on FYiradio, who host his self-penned sitcom ‘Finlay Finds Himself’, in which he plays the lead role. Tim also presents ‘Gay in the UK’ for American website AfterElton.com about contemporary gay culture.
Tim has taught Clowning, Shakespeare, Stage Combat, Writing and Business Enterprise.
Writing accolades include best writing - API Solo festival (‘Wise Enough to Play the Fool’), Script Games (‘Zhe Zhi’), Page to Stage (‘Crying the Neck’).
