About

Most writers put pen to paper everyday. Well, today more like fingers to keys. I however, must wait to be inspired. With my luck it is usually while cycling the windy country roads, or gardening, or cooking, or cleaning. You get the point. When I do get a chance to finally put pen to paper, I am at a loss for words. The music in my soul is heard only by me. I have only once tried to publish, and that was my poem Transitions. It speaks to me, and I hope it speaks to you. Written in my twenties, the meaning for me, has changed over the years, but there is truth in it. A friend of mine, who is a published writer, recently sent me the address for her blog, and that inspired me to share my work, as well. I see myself as more of a poet, but have always scribbled my memoirs, as it were,  a legacy for my children. Embedded in those musings, are many poems I have created for my children.
