Help Us Help the Bribri Community

The Bribri community of Kachabri in Talamanca Baja needs your help. We are organizing a fundraiser to collect the following items for this community. If you have interest in joining us please email us at kulturelingual@gmail.com or talk to any of the TSA organizers.

Recycling=Life Campaign on UNA campus: A total success!

The project of the students Rafael Alvarez, Edgardo Delgadillo, Priscilla Valverde and Alejandro Cerdas (from the course "Integrated English for other Majors II") consists on teaching professors, students and everybody at UNA how to recycle paper.
 
Their campaign ("Recycling=Life") took place on April 27h and 28th on our campus and many people came by to learn about this important process...among these people there was the President of our university (Rector): Olman Segura Bonilla!!! It was such a surprise!!!

With Love for Pets

Eladia, Adriana, and Carolina are collecting funds to help the Animal Shelter in San Rafael. They are selling gorgeous 2009 Calendars for only 1,000 colones each. If you want one, or several, please email any of the TSA organizers.

The 3rd Awakening Gathering will be held at the Centro para las Artes by the Explanada 11 de Abril from 4 to 6 pm. We will meet to enjoy a good movie, nice conversation (in English) and delicious refreshments. See you there!
