VISION STATEMENT

The World Stage’s Weekend Concert Series showcases virtuoso musicians in an intimate setting at community prices, represents our mission of being a driving force behind the energy, foot traffic, and overall spirit of the culture of Leimert Park Village, and contributes to LA’s dynamic, eclectic music scene.  Each weekend, shows in The Series are presented on one of the following Series Platforms:

Note: Occasionally, special shows are booked outside The Series format for events in conjunction with producers who hire the venue, and/or for CD releases and private showcases

Series Producers identify and select performers who reflect The World Stage’s legacy of fostering world-class jazz, grounded on the standards reflected in the remarkable career of co-founder Billy Higgins’, who was universally recognized and respected as a Master Musician. All shows are publicized through mass media, Social Media, and in conjunction with The World Stage’s media sponsors.
