5 Ways You Can Help to Launch an Epic Movement

Decode the campus. Familiarize yourself with Asian cultures. Learn about the demographics of the campus (e.g. which Asian American cultures are represented, how many students are there), find out if there are Asian American churches nearby and which student groups exist.

Build relational bridges. Connect with local Asian American pastors, leaders of existing ministries and leaders of secular Asian American organizations.

Find a person of peace. Invest time in a leader or leaders that are committed to the Epic Movement vision and who desire to launch a movement within their community. Invite them to attend an epic movement student conference.

Do evangelism among Asian American students. Use contextualized Asian-American evangelism tools (For some ideas, see the Epic Movement Filing Cabinet), engage in both initiative and relational evangelism and model & train your key leaders in effective witnessing.

Disciple your leaders. Equip your leaders to lead the Epic Movement ministry themselves and invite them into your life as you mentor them in all aspects of life.
