In order to best understand the users that we would be designing a solution for, our team created a presentation that served as a thorough overview about the Kenyan culture. Please look through the deck below to understand the context assumptions that we made over the course of this venture.

In addition to the presentation, we have made a few other assumptions about the context. These are outlined below.
Questions for Interface Design:
- The WishVast system can handle multiple networks, correct?
- If so, what happens if an unauthorized user pings a network?
- Does the user need to put in their own user code and the group code before any message? Are we saying that a person's phone number is their user I.D?
- If they don't, then they couldn't use someone else's phone to access the system.
- Can someone with no phone join?
- What does someone do if they forget what their group code is? Or their personal code. Can they find it out?
- What happens if someone texts in with a non-existent code? Do they discover that their message failed?
- Is there a way to make posts or ratings anonymously? Or can people create user names that won't identify them? We would like to avoid retribution.
Trust Concerns:
- People can use this organize bad things as well. Terrorists, Drug cartels, Witch Hunts.
- Could people undermine each other or gain a personal advantage from the network?
- Is there a way to harm someone with this? Character assassination? (For instance, if a group of one tribe wants to give somebody from another tribe a bad rep, they all hit him with low ratings. Any way to avoid this?)
- A bad person (say a violent drug dealer) could have a very high trust rating within his cartel. That doesn’t mean he is trustworthy.
Required Instructions for all Systems:
- Functionality Family?
- How many users?
- How many variables? (Single, Multiple)
- Open or Closed?
- Point Allocation Choice?
Generation of Motivation:
- Why do people want to do this? How do we get the ball rolling? If nothing has happened yet, what motivates people to give each other points.
