The communication between a parent and provider is very important to the success of the relationship both with the family and the child. Without an open and effective way to communicate, important issues or announcments may not be made known to both provider and parent.

Here at Willow Hill Daycare we not only strongly encourage the parent to feel free to talk to the provider at any time, we set aside parent/provider meetings to ensure that both sides are constantly aware of anything important that may effect the child be it good or bad.

Each child enrolled will be given a "mailbox" that is at the entrance of the center. Parents are instructed to check the "mailbox" daily for any papers or announcments that need their attention. We also have created an "Announcment Board" that will have any important activities, trips, recalls of toys and more posted on it. We encourage all parents to read any new "News" that is posted.

We also ask that parents try to find the time to set aside one day a month to spend some time in the center with their child and their "friends" so start the process of showing the child that you are truly interested in how their day goes.
