Willow Hill Daycare is open from 6am - 9pm, Monday - Friday. ***CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS*** **EXCEPTIONS: DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY OWN CHILDREN ARE INVOLVED IN HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS, MY CENTER WILL CLOSE EARLY ON THE DAYS THAT THEY HAVE GAMES. A SCHEDULE WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH PARENT AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SPORTS SEASON. I WILL ALSO POST A SCHEDULE ON MY "ANNOUNCMENT BOARD" AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE DAYCARE CENTER. Arrivals: Parents may begin to drop off their children at 6:00 am. The cut off time for arrival is 8:00 am due to activities and meals that are planned. Please contact us no later than 7:30 am if you will be late or your child will not be attending. Parents are expected to accompany their child both into and out of the home. Parents will be required to use the Sign In/Out sheet form to record the childs times within the daycare. Parents are responsible to communicate any questions or concerns on behalf of their child to the caregiver upon arrival. For example; illness, moodiness and so on. There will be a "mailbox" provided for each child that the parent will need to check first thing in the morning and when they pick up their child. This "mailbox" is provided as a way of paper communication between the parent and the provider. Such items placed on the "mailbox" (but not limited to) are toy recalls, upcoming events, parent/teacher conferences etc... Departures: Children may leave with a parent or designated person at any time of the day. Parents will need to communicate alternate pick up time in an effort to ensure that the provider can prepare the child for their early departure. **NOTE: PARENT MUST CALL THE PROVIDER WHEN THE CHILD WILL BE PICKED UP BY AN ALTERNATE PERSON. PROVIDER WILL NOT RELEASE THE CHILD TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT LISTED ON RECORD AS BEING AN ALTERNATE PERSON. PARENTS WILL NEED TO ADD ANY PERSON TO THIS LIST ON RECORD PRIOR TO THE CHILD BEING PICKED UP. Late Policy: The daycare closes promptly at 9:00 pm. Tardy departures of children impose an unfair burden to the caregiver and will not be tolerated. Therefore, parents arriving after 9:00 pm will be assesed a $1.00 per every minute past 9:00 pm late fee with a minimum of $10.00. THIS FEE IS PAYABLE IMMEDIATELY UPON PICKING CHILD UP! Excessive Tardiness will be assesed on an individual basis and dealt with accordingly. However, we are not without heart. If a parent calls the daycare with a valid excuse for tardiness such as but not limited to, weather or emergency, these instances will be dealt with on an individual basis. Holidays/Vacation:
HOLIDAYS; We understand the importance of Holidays in the family unit and also recognize that not all employers are inclined to allow it's employees to have holidays off. Taking this into consideration, we will remain open for most Holidays with the exception of two: Thanksgiving - Our facility will be closed the day before and the day after. Christmas - Our facility will be closed two days before and two days after. VACATION; Our facility will be closed the last full week of April for "Spring Cleaning". Each parent will be required to make other arrangements for their child's daycare during this time. Actual dates will be posted on the "Announcment Board" at the entrance of the daycare center. Our center will be closed for a family vacation for one week during the summer. Dates will be announced 2 months in advance and posted on the "Announcment Board". **DUE TO THE LOCATION OF OUR FACILITY, WE WILL NOT CLOSE IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER. DRIVEWAY WILL BE CLEARED FOR PARENTS TO DROP OFF THEIR CHILDREN.** |
