If your secret desire for Vintage Costume Jewelry is a Designer Necklace, Bracelet, Brooch or Ring, then stop here and find that Vintage Designer piece or unsigned Bling beauty. Enjoy the beautiful craftsmanship and true art form of these vintage jewelry pieces.
 We sell Antique and Vintage Jewelry and Accessories. You will find fabulous Designer and unsigned pieces in my shop dating back from 1920's through to the 1970's and be able to build up a jewelry collection that simply complements your own wardrobe or you can alternatively collect pieces from a particular period or designer. Some people collect just one type of jewelry such as brooches and pins, some collect a specific designer, like Haskell or Trifari.

Early costume jewelry dates back thousands of years and many of the pieces incorporate semi-precious stones. Costume Jewelry was designed to go with each new fashion season's outfits and was made in larger quantities, not expecting it to last very long, like the fine Jewelry pieces. Much of it was unsigned and made with inexpensive materials, however Costume Jewelry is just as beautiful and as highly crafted as its precious counterpart, and is now considered highly collectible. Since new jewelry designs were produced for every season of every year, it is also a fascination reflection of changing fashions and social history.

Featured Items this Week

Each week I will be putting up a couple of Featured Items for my shops.

This Week;

This c.1920's Art Deco Brooch has a large 0.75" by 1" Pink Czech Glass Crystal in the bezel set in to the center of this fabulous japanned metal brooch. The metal has a textured beaded design that makes it look like the Brooch has Marcasite stones set in the metal.

This Art Deco European Brooch is substantial; it measures 3" wide by 1.1/16" long. The back of the Brooch has a fixed pin attached and a roll top clasp.

This 1920's to 1930's Art Deco Brooch with Czech Glass was very well made and still is in very good vintage condition. Both the glass and the Japanned metal are in wonderful shape.
You'll be able to enjoy this fine Art Deco Brooch for many years to come.

A bit of history on Japanning metal, best describe it is the European imitation of Asian lacquerwork, originally used ... in heat-dried layers which are then polished, to give a smooth glossy finish.
Japan finish was really popular in Victorian times and with Queen Victoria after she went into mourning after Prince Albert's death.

Next; This  fabulous c.1950's AB Crystal Bead Expansion Bracelet marked Japan.This Silver AB Crystal Bead Bracelet is very beautiful, with lots of color and sparkle. If you love Bling than this is the piece for you.
The Bracelet is Silver and the metal is very clean. The Crystals are lovely as they move around and catch the light. There are a couple missing but its hard to tell because the Bracelet is so full of Crystals. On the expansion part of the Bracelet underneath you will see the mark Japan.

This Bracelet fits pretty much any size wrist because it does expand. Closed completely; it is approximately 2" in diameter. The width of the Bracelet is 1.25". The metal part underneath is shorter.

This AB Crystal Bracelet has a lot of movement to it, it is sexy and it is flirty. All you need is a pair of Crystal bead Earrings and your ready to go.

This c.1950's Bracelet is in very good vintage condition and ready for you to wear. In my store is a AB Crystal Bead Necklace and Earring set by "Continental" that would match perfectly with this Bracelet.  Just click here.
